Flickering / Pulsating Interior Lighting?

When stopped and idling and the main overhead and foot well lights are turned on, does anyone notice a flickering / pulsating of the interior lighting? The tachometer is as steady as can be and revving the engine a little does not change anything. I'm not entirely sure, but believe this is a new problem.

Sounds like a connection problem.

When it does it again, I'd try turning on and off things that pull from the battery; press the max AC button on off, radio, move your seat up down, etc.

See if that changes anything. If not, I'd say its a loose wiring/fuse.

...or your car is catching the Fisker syndrome and will soon go up in flames

Yes, I tried that when this occurred, along with revving the engine a little, but no change. The flickering is very subtle, but it's there. Hopefully a one-time occurrence that does not persist! Thanks.

It could be a bad set of bulbs that are flickering and not actually an electrical issue.

Thanks, but they all pulsate together in sync. Hopefully it goes away...

I have never noticed anything like this before, but will keep an eye out. Keep us posted if you come up with anything. My first response was to turn things off one by one, but it appears that is not the problem.

Yes, I too thought it was a matter of the system having a high load, but apparently not the case; I shall keep you posted. Thanks!
