Anyways, I became obsessed with having my iPhone display mirror onto the idrive screen (seen YouTube videos of this being possible). Being that Apple doesn't allow for TV/out (unless its jailbroken, big shock, huh), I started expanding my horizons and looked into Samsung phones. Bluetooth audio will delete any ugly wires. There is also a bluetooth mini keyboard/mouse that I plan on mounting as well. Plenty of real estate by the idrive controller. iPhone does not allow a for bluetooth mouse to work. Solves the whole stupid issue of not being able to get emails/texts whatever without having to dance to the devil after the phone pairs and I will have a nice big screen to read it on.

Anyways, that's my sickness lol. Laugh all you want but I am breaking out of Apple's jail. Not about to start a childish war about which phone is better so if Apple suits you, then enjoy. It's just not for me anymore. Because I already bought the cradle and I'm embarrassed to admit I paid all that money for such a worthless piece of junk, I'm gonna stick my (now beater) 4S in there for the heck of it. Still got a crap load of songs on it.

It was just a joke, let us know how everything integrates with the iDrive, you never know, you may get a bunch of iPhone lovers to jump into the competition.

Rather than make two posts, I just used your quote to explain my next project. Everything after "Bluetooth headset FTW " was for the general audience and not directed at you lol. BTW, that looks like a Zach Morris mobile phone hahaha.

It won't integrate with idrive at all. That's why I love the screen size on the Note 2. It's gonna be self sustained so I can use the idrive for other things like a full map screen or night vision (which I rarely use because its annoying to switch between that and audio screens)

B. I don't have any stupid hats or scarves.
C. The last time I shopped in a thrift store, it was to buy a pair of jeans to destroy for a sorority party... also, I learned that day that Goodwill isn't accustomed to breaking $100 bills. #awkward
D. I couldn't tell you the difference between Indie rock and a song by Lady Bieber or Justin Gaga.

It looks like any notifications will transfer to the iDrive if you turn off/on the app notification while connected through bluetooth. I got whatsapp notifications today in the SMS inbox.

Someone who has either yet to taste or is unaffected by the Apple Kool Aid.

Viber notifications also transfer if you turn off/on the app notification while connected and with each start. It looks like iPhone IMAP vs BMW Bluetooth interface does not distinguish between notifications

Not really sure what the point of that is if you stir it up anyway. I suppose you could not stir it and then the espresso would sink beneath the foam and slowly mix with the milk, but that would bug me. I guess this is what happens when you try to make sense of insanity. Kinda like trying to figure out why someone would buy an Android when they could get an iPhone Kidding, of course

New software update with BMW ConnectedDrive (communication and media) is available, do not know if fixes anything, I am out of town.
