E63 / E64 6 Series (2004 - 2010)
The E63/E64 BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations.

Convertible top Stain

Someone poured a drink all over our convertible top. Not sure how long it had sat like that. We had moved the car to a safe location for Hurricane Issac. When I got it home I washed it twice, but I can't seem to lift the stain. I used regular car wash and a soft bristled brush. Scared to use a hard brush and not sure what cleaner to use. I don't want to damage the top to get the stain out. Thought about maybe using the pressure washer on low setting. How can I get the stain out without damaging it. I think it may have been coke or beer. There was a sticky residue on the passenger windows.

You will have to use a stain lifter first then a wash then a sealer. I had tree sap on mine once and used the BMW convertible top cleaner and sealer. It got mine off. You can try a few others. I believe the same manufacture that makes the top for BMW has a top care product on the market. Try a search. Sorry I do not remember the name at the moment but if I do i will post it. Good Luck and it really sucks when people don't respect others property.

The stuff Pablo is referring to is Raggtopp fabric protectant, which is probably the best protectant on the market for soft tops.

They also make a cleaner which I have not tried. If it's anywhere near as good as the protectant it will be awesome.

I would order the protectant in any event and use it once or twice a year. Pop/beer would roll right off of a roof once treated. Water beads on the roof like on a freshly waxed car.

+1 on the RaggTopp. I used it on all my convertibles.

I used this brush on my top as well:
