Windshield sun shade

Since BMW still does not yet sell a sun shade for the f30 I was wondering if anyone had found a workable soultion. I have in the past just bought the BMW shade as it is easily folded and does the job. Is anyone using the E90 part. Or some after market piece.

Thanks
Steve

I am using my OEM sunshade from my E90 & it fits like a glove. I definitely would recommend it if you don't want to wait or already have one as I did!

I got one of the cover soft (I think that's what they are called) 100 SPF shades for the 2013. Fits perfectly. Search other threads For the exact name.

Covercraft car sunshades makes the foldable shades sans BMW logo. Sold by various companies but here's a link to one: http://www.autoanything.com/driving-...A1228A0A0.aspx

Input model year 2012/BMW/3 series for the correct size.

I've seen a few recommendations for this guy. Pick 2012, as it doesn't seem to be updated for the 2013's.

I've got a covercraft and it fits perfectly. I went with the 2012 F30 UVS100 Heat Shield from carbytes.com

I'm using an E60 BMW folding sunshade and it is a tight fit, but works just fine.

I got one from a dollar store for $1. The first dollar store I went to didn't have one that I liked but another dollar store did. That same shade sells in Canada for about $7.95, not $1.

I can't understand why some are paying big bucks for the sun shade when the ell cheapo does just a good of a job.
cheers

It's the same as with the car. Some people appreciate a high performance sun shade.

Never again anything larger than a 3 series sedan.

I have my doubts about how "high performance" sunshades outperform the Walmart kind. But, to each their own...

It was sarcasm.
