91 850i, it won`t stay running.
I have a 91 850i, before I had this problem it ran fine expect it was missing off and on
what I found was 2 plug wires were bad, so I upgraded all the wires and clean the throttlebodies. Now I started the engine and the problem I`m having is it won`t stay, it will run for a fue seconds then stall, I recheck my work everything is fine. so what do you think the problem is? Thank WE31 |

Sounds like a bad vacuum leak.
Do the throttle bodies need to be re-sync'd?

Do the new wires have the sensors on #6 and #12? and are the connections for those sensors cross connected?

Hay 02540ico sorry about that, I was out-of-town for awhile. I found the problum,
it wasn`t a vacuum leak and the throttle bodies don`t need re-sync`d, it was the Cam Sensors that were bad, so I bought the cam sensors, put them in, the car runs great. But thanks for your help. WE31 |
