Can anyone recommend where I buy my X5 diesel in NY

Looking for a dealer that wants to sell a car. I am located in Long Island. The dealers I have visited (whom I will not name) want MSRP for the cars on their lots. Thx in advance

Where have you gone? I have used Habberstad many times in the past and they were alway very competative with pricing.

500 above invoice. If they can't do it, move on to the next one.

Very reasonable people, it really feels like a dealership in Europe and an easy drive from Long Island (I live there myself).
None of the "let me check with my manager" BS.

I went to Orange BMW in Central Valley and they honored the True Car price without a hassle.

Mein Auto: A box with 4 circles
This thread just became more of one upping each other on their dealers! LOL.

OP HERE'S A Solution that may help you after you have chosen the car that suits your needs either via searching autotrader for a car on the lot, or building it yourself on the website. After figuring what options you like, build it on BMWconfig, and note the invoice price (really important). Then:

First decide whether your leasing or financing via loan or cash!

Then do the necessary legwork in terms of researching all you can about current incentives, lease details, residuals etc

Then figure out whether you wanted your car delivered at the dealer or PCD. (if PCD USE A FORUM SPONSER soo much better, no hassle, maybe restrict some finance methods, but check them out, prices are invoice+500 usually)

If you want it from a dealer at NY be prepared to meet some no dealers lol (NYC/li dealers don't usually deal since they have enuff near Msrp sales). Ideally you want ur purchase price to be (depending on model) invoice+500-all incentives, however don't expect it at NYC/LI.

I do recommend checking all the dealers that are within your the max dealer distance purchase area. Email them, with your asking price, see if they respond, if not you have another ton of hopefuls. From there see how it goes.

Note of advice, what I just said may work to your favor, or not, its the luck of the draw. Dealer recommendations only will get you soo far, unless you have great connections. My advice, be self sufficient and knowing of what your getting into, so research everything you possibly can, and don't expect the same type of deal or good fortune, just cause some else posted it, unless they can reproduce their purchase agreeement and replicate it for you on your deal.

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR PURCHASE!

Ray Catena in White Plains. Usual dealer BS like anywhere else but GM is stand up guy. If close enough, worth the trip for the accountability alone.
