Question Noise when coasting???

Proud owner of a 2004 X3 with 94k miles on it. Literally 12 hours after purchasing from reputable dealer in Ohio, I am driving to work getting off the highway so I let my foot off the gas and hear a grinding type noise from the back right. Noise doesn't occur when I am braking (that I can hear) or when on the gas pedal. Calling the dealer later today but wanted to know what it could be and should I expect them to fix it?

Secondly, dealer claims they just replaced rear rotors and pads and did $2800 in maintenance and was fully inspected (which it passed). Didn't hear the noise when I test drove it as I only got off the highway one time (and was jumping out of my seat ready to purchase it for how fun it is to drive). Love the help or any info before I call the dealer back.

Thanks!

Oops

So driving the car upside down is not the cause of the noise. I have ruled that out. Not sure why my upload is upside down.

Probably something to do with the brake job they just did.
Have them revisit the rear brakes to see what's up...

It happens at all speeds. Not as noticeable at slow speeds that I could tell.

Did you ever find a solution for this noise?

OP is still upside down with the car

Isolate it from,....

Rear Wheel (is it really on one side)
Try E-brake lightly while rolling
Inspect brakes for funk

Inspect UJ, Driveshafts, Carrier bearing, Guibo for slop
