Read this before posting...
Since we no longer have indiividual board devoted to most M cars, when you post you need specify which model you are talking about ("My M3 needs a ..." isn't specific.
So.... E30 M3- 1986-1991 2.3 or 2.5L I4 E36 M3- 1994-1999 3L or 3.2L I6 (240 to 321 hp) E46 M3- 2001 to present 3.2L I6 (333 or 343 hp depending on where you live) M roadster- 1997- 2001 Z3 based car with 3.2L engine (240 to 325 hp) M coupe- 1999-2001 same engine as M roadster NOTE: M3 coupe and M coupe are DIFFERENT cars. Just as M3 roadster does not exist. If you have an M3 convertible call it such. E28 M535i/M5- mid 80s 3.5L I6 256 to 286 hp. E34 M5- 1991- 1995 3.6 or 3.8L I6 (315? to 340 hp) E39 M5- 2000-2003 4.9L V8 (394 hp) E60 M5- coming in 2005 5L V10 (550 hp!) M1- don't expect this car to come up in coverstaion...sweet car if you got one!~ E24 M6- same engine as E28 M5 850CSi- yeah it really is an M car. Thanks for your helping in being specific when asking questions. Bruce |
