? Re: OEM 21" BMW Star Spoke 128 wheels and tires

Does anyone know what the difference is in the
BMW Star Spoke 128

for the 7 Series E65/E66 and the 2006 + X5's/X'6's?

I cant seem to find any specs or info on difference. Local guy is selling some off a E70 and states the inside of rims read:

E10X21 EH2+ / E11.5JX21 EH2+/

E70RE:06L19

Offset different? Will these or wont these fit on a 7 series?

the rims are 1 inch wider and I believe the hubs are different sizes. You could put them on but it'd be hard to get the right tires for a good price.

Whereas the added width is an advantage, The biggest question would be the offset on these wheels. This could be much more of a pain if you are trying to get these wheels to fit your vehicle. If the offset numbers are less (-ve change) than the 7 series style 128 you are golden, If its same or more (+ve change) then you have a lot to worry about. I would suggest a test fit to ensure that they do not rub your calipers and inner tub

^ It may be a disadvantage since I have 275 (factory) on 10.5 rears, on an 11.5 rear you need a minimum of 295 or 305 depending on brand, and I don't think those tires can be found.
