On Craigslist, found on a blind search, looks clean but sounds like it needs the cooling overhaul.

I've been off in project hell so I back-burnered the BMW quest==but this one made me curious.

FYI, Cooling problems may= unknown headgasket problems.

I agree, I thoroughly looked at my car, found out after it had a head gasket problem. It runs fine, It's put on 1000+ miles, and been to 100+mph three times....these things hide headgasket issues very well.

Understood--car is already sold, though.

Around here they would be asking the same price ($1350 or so) and the headgasket would already be blown--and it would likely have major body rot to boot.

Car looked clean too--interior wasn't trashed.
