Looks pretty good, pretty confusing sheet. How did you get a money factor of .00115? I thought the numbers were .00145

Apparently the money factor for 2012 model (.00115) was better than (.00145 for the 2013 model) according to my local dealer
![]() I should also add that I was given a $1000 incentive for being a recent college graduate and I was going with 2K down. Is this a good idea ..and / or should I negotiate the selling price down some more and just finance the thing? Last question: What is the average depreciation of a 328i for every year. from my calculation (based on a 2012 model) Year 1: Depreciates $7742 Year 2: Depreciates $4376 Year 3: Depreciates $3850 What is the sweet spot if I were to purchase a CPO? I want my monthly payments to not exceed $530/month. I know BMW is offering 0.9% financing for 2009 models and 2010 5 series and a local bank is giving me 2.79% financing Suggestions? I'd try to drive it off without cap reduction, see of they can keep your payment below $530 including tax, basically $530 drive off, $530 a month.

its going to be more than 530 drive off, but yea, no cap reduction.

I would definitely ask them to explain/itemize those $600. I wouldn't pay more than $50 for pure admin fees. You need to know what they are including there.
To me dealers often use this as a black box to get some profits. If they can explain it to your satisfaction then go ahead, if not make sure you also negotiate that. Otherwise the numbers look good. Some more discounts for a 2012 would be better.

Definitely shop around. I am looking for a 2012 328 sportline.
Dealer # 1 quoted me $498 on a 36 month lease, $2,200 TOTAL down (includes all drive away fees and first pmt) for one with premium pkg, heated seats, and sport paddle shifter. I really want xenons, so I checked into Dealer # 2. Told them about #1's offer, but I wanted xenons. Dealer #2 (who swore they could do better) quoted me $495 pmt on a 36 month lease, $2,200 TOTAL down (includes all drive away fees and first pmt) for one with premium pkg, heated seats, & xenons. I had mentioned I may want the tech pkg too. Dealer #2 said he had another one just like it except it also has the tech. pkg and quoted $537 pmt on it. So right there, for $3 less I could get the same car with the xenons I wanted. |
