Hard Shifts, Audio Cut and Service Miles
I’ve taken my 7 in for these issues. I get the car back today and BMW of Roseville CA says:
“The hard shifting was because my Trans fluid was low.” The car was sent to them for the same issue 3 months earlier and they said it was fine and they couldn’t reproduce the problem. They did a safety check and went over the entire car. Mine you, I send it in because the Idrive said something about a “failure” and to take it to BMW immediately. The audio be it the radio, CD players, navigation or BT cuts out and slowly rises up to a low audio level. BMW said they just “reprogrammed” the radio and now it works fine. WHAT?! My Idrive at times showed oil change due at 9000. Drive the car to work (20 miles) start the car for lunch –service due 200 miles. Drive home Service due -20miles. Start the car the next morning, service due 700 miles. BMW says the car is fine and the system never fails and the car is correct. I say it shouldn’t fluctuate that much! So frustrating! ![]()
