E39 (1997 - 2003)

Mein Auto: 02 525I SPORT
Trans, my new but old problem.

The car has about 190....., fluid was change maybe 3 to 4 years ago. I alway had a problem with hard shifting from 1 to 2, on hot days when the ac is on. But today for the first time the fail safe light came on. I turn the car off and on. the light is off and the car runs good. What's my next move? Thanks for helping.

I'm guessing a new car unless you are attached to it then a new trans. If that is the original trans and you got 190, you're doing good.

Drive it until the tranny cannot do its job anymore. at 190 its good how long your tranny lasted.
