Picked up a roadster for 9k
Hey guys, I'm new here. My GTI got stolen so I used the insurance money to get myself a 2000 Z3 roadster.
100k miles, new tires, a few door dings but nothing major, luggage carrier, 5 speed with Zapco amps + component speakers and I think there's a subwoofer somewhere in there... Oh and it's an M roadster :]. How'd I do on my first BMW buy? Wasn't the S54 I originally wanted but for the price I don't think I can complain. |

Looks like a very nice find.. Congratulations!!!! I live in New England and looked at many Z3s before finding the one that I have... Most were in pretty typical New England shape, which is not pretty.. Finding a Z3M around my area is next to impossible...

Thanks, I actually wasn't really looking for a Z3 when I found this beauty, just couldn't find the other 3 cars I wanted for a while and randomly called the owner and negotiated an outstanding amount off the asking price, 2.9k.
Of course this M roadster has its common problems, no splitting differential or trunk thankfully, just the small common issues that I am working on. Just found out today that as awesome as the stereo looks, my front speakers don't work even though the RCAs are plugged and the speaker wires are attached to. |
