Best color combinations

i wonder if there is or that you would like to give the best looking color combinations for the bmw 5 series .

I think the best color combination is black metallic from the outside , and intererior of Dakota Leather Cinnamon Brown with the Walnut Honey brown wood trim.

not sure about the wheels.

I wonder if the 5 series come in SMOKE/dark grey color

tell me if you think there can be a better looking combination

I am very partial to the cinnamon interior with several exterior colors (mine is space gray), but not with the gray overhead. I found it to be just too busy with too many colors when viewed with the black door panels etc. Fortunately, the sport package on my 2012 brought the anthracite overhead with it and that really made it for me.

Very interesting that you all agreed on one color combination. I always thought dark blue(or imperial if you wish) was the BMW color.

Carbon Black. You get the best of both.

I think you will find the most common answer to this question can be found in the poster's signature line which indicates which color combination they purchased.

For example: My favorite color combination is Jet Black over Black Dakota Leather.

Ironically enough, my favorite Porsche 911 color is Guards Red over Black Leather.

I usually do not like wood applications in the interiour. For me it should be alluminium or piano, then White or black leather is very suitable. If White leather, then the car should be dark, if black leather it does not matter. My opinion is that terracota leather nice for half a year, then it starts to annoy me.

dont you think the completely black interior makes the car looks "plastic" and boring/dull ?

Actually, I used to think that and for that reason used to dislike black interiors.

The quality of leather and other materials in the F-10 really make it look elegant and sportier to me than tan / oyster colors.

I am burned out on the cinnamon / saddle colored interiors. I had that in my 2007 530 many years ago and most recently on a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland.

My initial thought was to go with Oyster / Black. However, after seeing many brand new F-10's on the showroom floor or dealer lot that were filthy on the arm rest and the door panels, I opted to go with black.

In a Porsche 911, it is a no-brainer. Black is always the sportiest and best looking interior.
I would not buy a Porsche with any other color interior unless it was perhaps a shade of darker gray.

As with everything, to each their own.

I think dark graphite looks pretty good. I had an imperial blue and got really bored with it. I'm a fan of silver for ease of care and plus, it's the fastest color!

Absolutely no offense intended, however, I am so tired of silver cars. They have been overdone with every I.T. goon wearing a blue tooth and sporting pleated dockers and Kenneth Cole square toed rubber soled shoes.

Best combo for M-Sport: TiAg + Black + Alu Hexagon closely followed by CB + Black + Alu Hexagon.
Best executive combo for non M-Sport: Black Saphire + Black + Dark Wood.
Most inviting warm luxury combo: Havanna + Beige + light wood.

Interior is a personal type thing. It feels right or is doesn't. With one exception I've only had black interiors becuase it immediately feels right to me. Same thing with wood, it doesn't feel right in a sporty car.
I tried oyster in the F10 and while it make the car look really great, light and airy I never felt it was "me". I felt like a limo driver or like I was driving my uncle's car. Just didn't fit me.

For the Cayenne we are about to order to my wife we are going with white exterior which is new to us, we first thought about silver but we've had a lot of silver cars and the Cayenne has some black trimmings framing the car which makes for a pretty nice SUV look. I have a hard time with totally color coded white cars. Looks to much like an appliance.

I'm sick of generic black, grey, silver, and white BMWs. They need to spruce up the color palette

The answers here are predictable--to each his own, indeed.

That said, my logic was like yours. I was burnt out with tan interiors as well and the cinnamon was a bit too far toward the red/orange spectrum for my taste.

I also wasn't sure about black but am really happy about my black Nappa, and it is nicely complemented by the anthracite wood and aluminum edging. I'm also very happy with Imperial Blue and am really glad that I went with this over carbon black, which seems the default choice for many M-Sport F10s.

Carbon Black exterior with Black Dakota Leather (any black leather for that matter) interior - Carbon Black is not a very common 5er colour here in OZ.

I will say that if I was to buy an M5 for my next car then I'd go with the Frozen Grey Metallic exterior with Black Leather interior.

I agree but since i buy my cars & then sell them in 3-4 years you can't go with something to unpopular ex. I like dark green w/biege interior then you hear things like no sale green
Since i always get good $$ for my cars don't want to hurt that

Def Imperial Blue/Oyster only if I had a car wash every day... For everday living I love Alpine White/Oyster.

I am not sure how you all can differentiate between saphire black and carbon black...it all looks just black to me.

I want a dark grey color, a friend of mine says that I can get it in Singapore Grey?
Any one know more about this? Can I get it?
its not in the colors manual nor in the inidividual colors... it seems to be one of the m5 colors. My friend insists that I can get it on the 535
