Washers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could anyone shed a light! My front washer water container is full but doesn't spray water onto windscreen! Does this mean the fuse has gone as have checked the pipework and all seems ok there? Could it be anything else? Cheers Hamster1

Either the hose is broken (check under the hood) or more likely the pump is dead.

Use VDO pump....US $20.

To the OP, you CAN still CHANGE the title (hit the EDIT->ADVANCED button).

As for your question, it's a common problem. Cn90 has the best DIYs on the washer, but, I'm gonna point you to this one thread for starters because it has references to cn90's DIYs and lots and lots of mundane pictures of the entire system for you to learn from:

There is also a filter in the system which is down near the pump and tank in the wheel well. In my case the filter was clogged and needed to be replaced. I was getting some flow but not much.

You should be able to hear the pump when it runs from inside the car, or I just have a noisy pump...
