2011 parking brake auto release?

had this function on the 2012 528ix loaner, when the parking brake is engaged, with your seat belt on, as soon as you put in gear and hit the gas the parking brake will release automatically. but on my 2011 535iX it doesn't do that and the indicator tells you to release parking brake.
I'm wondering if a coding change can enable that on my car.

I am interested in this feature as well. I had it as standard in my Audi Q5. It is very convenient.

My 2012 F10 sometimes does this and sometimes shows me the indication. I'm not sure what's different when I do it but I'm certain you can do it and it may even be a standard feature.

The coding line is: EMF -> HU_CIC -> ADR_AKTIV -> change to ADR_ein

with your seat belt on, as soon as you put in gear and hit the gas the parking brake will release automatically

Looking for coding line for Automatic handbrake engage when the engine is turned OFF..any help?

I do not have separate hand and parking brake. If you use auto-H, then parking brake will be engaged on car off.
There is also the following coding, DSC --> 3000 Allgemein --> Funktion_AutomaticDriveawayRelease_aktiv: change from nicht_aktiv to akitv
For LCI vehicles, it is coded from factory and switching to aktiv will actually result in warning to first release brake upon pressing the gas.

I am not sure, but I do not think it would make sense for auto-H to work in a manual transmission.

I get the usefulness. I use it all the time and wish it could be coded on by default. I could not find the link, but thought I read it does not work with manual transmission.
