Cat Codes and Drivers seat heat doesn't work

I am getting 2 simultaneous Catalytic convertor codes
P 0430
P 0420
Is it possible that both cats went bad at the same time?
I am thinking of installing some O2 sensor spacers and see if the codes go away, has anyone else tried this with success?
Also my Driver's seat heater doesn't work, my shop said the only fix was to replace the whole seat? Is that true?
Thanks ahead of time for your replies.

I wouldn't be surprised if both cats went semi-concurrently. I've never heard of "spacers"; I doubt that anything but new cats or O2 sensors will fix the problem.

The bottom surface of the sport seat can be replaced separately from the rest, but other than that it's a whole new seat.

As far as cats go yes you can get what you need for about ~$20 or less at your choice of auto part stores but before you do that you need to con sided what might be wrong. If your cats are going bad they may be clogged which is nothing to over look. What are your states emission laws?

The check engine light goes on and off, stays on for a couple weeks go off for a couple days. Vermont has emmisions but it isn't very strict.
My thinking is the spacer will move the O2 sensors out enough to stop the check engine light. I already replaced all of them and the MAF at the same time.
Any thoughts where to find a seaqt bottom, sucks not having it. Need black
