I can confirm that the process is easy as pie. It can be done with a flat-blade and phillips screwdriver.

BTW, if you find a good cheap source for replacements, let me know. I need to change out the left side midrange.

Just sitting in my drawer.

Do you happen to know if that is the same size and if the mounting holes are the same as the rear shelf midrange speakers? I have the part number for what I need.

What's the part number stamped on the speaker you have? That would be the place to start. The part # I need is 6513 6930903-01. Any chance they match?

It's about 3.5" diameter and has 3 screw holes, triangular pattern.

Might just be the L7 version of the same thing.

Where in CT are you located? I am in Darien.

Here's a pic I found from other thread, you can see photo of it on the left: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=727471

Thanks for checking. I'm guessing that although they're the same size, the mounting holes are probably different, hence the different part number.

Might be worth a shot to take a look and compare them since we're so close. I'm in Monroe, but work in Norwalk. If this is workable, how much do you want for it?

I think it will fit. I am close to Norwalk and you can just have it.
Just pm me and we can find a date next week.
