Coolant problem?

Hi and long time no see fellow 'festers

For the past few weeks, whenever I start my 323, it starts cold-and I mean cold, the needle is deep in the blue. Do I need to replace the coolant reservoir or something else? Or should I schedule with an Indy as soon as I can?

Other than the brake calibers failing on me due to me not changing the pads, she's been extremely good for the last 15,000. I had a job this summer that required me to drive 60 miles a day, which definitely did start to strain it a bit.

If it's on a cold start, that's not really much of an issue. Is it taking longer than 5 minutes or so to warm up? Do you get a low coolant light or something? What makes you think there is a coolant problem?

It's suppose to be cold when starting. It should be in the middle after about 5mins.

Ah, okay. That's exactly what happens with mine. I was worried because I started happening in early August. But if everybody's does this, it's good by me.
