New and i never had a bmw till now

hi im new and i have a 1999 323i

the head gasket needs to be replaced soon now dose it cost alot to replace it and how hard is it i need help its not over heating or anything

By the time you have all the necessary machine work performed, you're looking at about $1200 for a head gasket replacement.

Also, if you have a failed head gasket, do NOT continue driving the car. The coolant mixing with the oil will prematurely wear the bearings inside your engine, and then you're really toast.

Mein Auto: 1999 BMW 323i
the car dose not over heat or anything i just got it and i was told it needed a gasket n they been driving it for weeks like that and the smoke gets thick after a while

Right. The reason why you are getting smoke is because you have a blown head gasket, which is allowing coolant to get into the combustion chamber, which will eventually mix with oil, which will then start eating at your bearings. Do NOT drive a car with a blown head gasket, even if it does not overheat.
