How to change my thermostat?? 03 330 CI

My service engine light keeps coming on because my thermostat is stuck open. I'm looking to have it replaced so I can turn this annoying right off. If anybody's change a thermostat I would appreciate any tips or any good do-it-yourself videos...

Also is there very much difficulty to replacing the thermostat on a BMW??

While I have not changed this one yet I have on 4 other cars and it is always a straight forward job. Get on YouTube for a video and go the the wiki for great in depth write ups. From my experience working on this car is Mich easier than anything else but my buddy's 70 F100. Things can get cramped just make sure you have a good set of metric sockets 1/4 and 3/8 ratchets w/ extensions. And some combo rachering wrenches and there is mother on these cars you can't fix. < this maybe a slight exaggeration but not much!
