Projector Headlamps and Angel Eyes Retrofit

First, I have read the Wiki on this topic and searched the forum for discussions regarding retrofitting projector style headlamps and angel eyes but they seem dated so I'm looking for anyone with recent experience on this topic. I have a 2002 330i sedan with standard Halogen headlamps and want to upgrade to projector style headlamps with angel eyes. Are there some kits that are better than others? Is it overly complicated to install and are the newer kits not requiring you to have a dealer reflash the car?

For angel eyes, Khoalty sells some pretty decent ones for a fraction of Umnitza's price. If you're hellbent on Umnitza, keep your eyes peeled for used ones.

NOTE: If you do the retrofit listed in xi_chee's thread, I believe you'll need the halogen version angel eyes due to the shape of your headlights' frames. You may want to contact a representative with Khoalty, Umnitza, or xi_chee for more clarification on this subject.

You'll find that a complete headlight assembly with FXR will give you the best possible light option for a minimal headache.
