Bimmer newbie!
Just got my 2009 white 328ci. The car is in perfect condition, 20k miles, not a scratch and tires look brand new. My teens are encouraging me to change the rims to black. Thoughts and rules from the Bimmer gooru's? Buy BMW rims? Do they come in black for this. At? I think they are 17". Mom needs help here! I think black rims and a little window tint would look nice, but don't want to ruin it!

Black wheels are quite popular these days. Choices will be mostly about your own cosmetic taste, but many like the look of black wheels on white cars in particular.

Black wheels can look good, but it's not a look I would recommend for everyone. Right now I think we can all agree your car looks very classy. Putting black wheels on it will make it less classy and give a lot more aggressive look. I would stick with classy personally. Also, I don't think black wheels would look good with that interior color (this is obviously a bigger deal since you have a convertible).
Window tint is a very different thing. That would look fine I think, although I wouldn't go super dark (i.e. stay in the 20 - 30% range probably).
