Need the headlight!

Hey i have this headlight that isnt shining anymore its like its dirty in the inside.. any suggestions how to clean the inside? I have a 1986 bmw 520

Take the headlight out from the car, remove the bulb then simply pour a table spoon of methylated spirits into the inside of the lens.
Swirl it around covering all of the lens. Turn it upside down, drain out then sit the headlight in the sun to completely evaporate all the meth spirits from within the lens.
You may have to do it 2 or 3 times.

Does that harm the reflector part? They are so soft and easy to mark in my experience.

Hi, in my experience no harm was done to the reflector.
It goes without saying that this method is done very carefully.
