What is a good website to order a nice, fairly cheap ( lower than $300 per rim) rims for a 328xi 17" wheels?

Tirerack, as noted, is an excellent spot. EuropeanAutoSource and ModBargains also have a number of reputable brands in that price range.

Sadly, it's not actually a track anymore. It once was the Hutchinson Island Raceway but is now a maintenance road for the golf course that now inhabits the area. The road stays very clear, though, and there's never any traffic except we thrill-seekers

I'd recommend that you check out the D-Force LTW-5 wheels flow form wheels. They're perfect as track wheels, or for anyone looking for a lightweight wheel that will stand up to the abuse of daily driving a vehicle.

The main reason why a flow formed wheel is better than a gravity or low pressure cast wheel is weight saving. This wheel is roughly 5 Lbs lighter than a cast wheel, this weight saving translates to huge performance gains as every pound removed from the wheels/tires is as if you removed 10 Lbs from the car. If you replaced wheels that were 5 Lbs heavier than the LTW5 this means overall it is as if you are removing 200 Lbs from the car!

Wheel Weights
17x8.0 - 15.5 Lbs
17x8.5 - 16.2 Lbs
17x9.0 - 16.4 Lbs
