Tires for 17" BBS RKs on e30 M3

Hello everyone, I just purchased an '88 e30 M3. The tires are shot and it is currently riding on 17" BBS RKs. Should I get 225/45s or 215/45s? I have the stock basketweaves too but want some new tread on the 17s. Will 225s rub? Thanks!

What is the offset of the RKs?

Are you on stock suspension?
