Best place to order parts?

So I am looking for parts to order, since I don't particularly like the prices my mechanic shoots out for stuff. So what is your favorite, or best place to buy parts for your e46?

Also has anyone else had their grills just completely fall out and go missing?

Autohaus-az. I haven't used them for the E46, but I know they stock Bimmer parts and I've been very happy ordering M-B parts from them.

Had a grille disappear while my wife was driving once. She has a habit of destroying bimmers (which is why I keep her away from the ZHP).

I use Oembimmerparts.com almost exclusively. If you need a part no on the website, just contact max via email and he can get most anything.

I think I'll become more of an oembimmerparts guy after the great customer service and fast shipping Max showed me.

This is what people should be using: www.furiousmethod.com in today's economy to get the BEST price.

All of them vendors are great. I'm sure Max is great with stellar customer service and fast shipping but I personally have never ordered anything from him because I can usually find better deals, cheaper and with 2-3 days free shipping.

Have to Plug Max at http://www.oembimmerparts.com/

I just bought a ton of stuff from him and all were shipped fast. Like Smolck said if its not on the website Max will get it and put it on there for ya. Great customer service and fast responses!

Anybody but ECS Tuning. They will rip you a new one on shipping, but worst of all they will lie to you and tell you a part is in stock, then when they hit your credit card, they will tell you that the part will ship when they actually get it. I'd drive a Honda before I would buy from them again.

Based on the feedback from this forum I ordered some maintenance parts from http://www.oembimmerparts.com/ for one of the MINI's. I went to do an oil change this weekend and discovered I was out of oil filters. Doh!!! Also picked up some new wipers for what will hopefully be a rainy season and cabin air filter. Pricing was more than reasonable and the site is easy to navigate. Hopefully the oil filter gets here be the end of the week.

plus one on Pelican parts-lots of OEM selection at the most reasonable price I can find...most of the time...However, being on the wrong coast does make it four days shipping for me in Fl...and make sure you click on the more info button, associated with each item, to ensure you are getting the right part. Kind of annoying web site in that respect....clumps all models on one page and you need to be careful to ensure it fits your model.

ECS Tuning and OEMBimmer parts I use as a check before I buy at Pelican, typically.

Ecs used to but not anymore, try calling bmw/euro indy
I got one for around $140 from an indy, compared to $180 from the dealer

For genuine BMW parts, I exclusively use thebmwpartstore.com

For OEM (but not genuine), I'll usually shop at ECS, Pelican, or Turner
