Well,

in general you would need the private BMW key to generate a valid FSC for your car. This key seemed to have been leaked into varius channels, because otherwise noone other than BMW could offer this option.

I doubt anybody in possession of such an application with the key included will give some free-of-charge tipps here or post the software.

I guess the current go rate per FSC is $40-$50 depending on who you talk to...

Hi guys if youn need SWID reader pls sen me a pm.

What am I doing wrong?
I copy EDIABAS to C disk
In EDIABAS folder copy SWID reader.exe and start reader.
Than I go to connect f series and give me error in picture...

Y need to put SWID reader in C:\EC-apps.

To read oo1b file for F series you will need ICOM or enet cable.

No I have win xp. and I have enet cable.
Do I need instal EDIABAS or only copy folder ediabas to C disk ?
Can someone send me a good EDIABAS
I do not have C:\EC-apps

I found good EDIABAS in BMW_E-Sys_3.18.4_47.5 so I'll try again.

No, you need EDIABAS. It is included in the E-Sys 3.18.4 Package.

Copy EDIABAS to C:\

Copy SWID_reader.exe to C:\EDIABAS\BIN

Copy these 4 files from SWID to C:\EDIABAS\ECU:

00swtkwp.prg
cas.prg
cas4.prg
swtuds.prg

I solved the problem. SWID_reader.exe must be in C:\EDIABAS\Bin

In the C:EDIABAS/Bin do I just drop the whole SWID reader.zip in the bin? Do I need to open up the folder ECU_copy_to_Ediabas_ecu and copy and paste those contents into Bin? Thanks

You need to extract the files and copy them to the locations listed above.

Way behind the times here but trying to catch up. Do I have the basics correct?
My 2005 545 is CCC & as such has no capability for these newer map version downloads?
There is a latter version CCC (2006+) that can take newer downloads that was a predecessor
of CIC? Thanks
