My X3 2005 with 95k is making a funny noise like shifting problem when breaking to stop and the same when i turn right. It's difficult to explain I all ready change the Transfer Case Actuator Motor Gear cuz I have that problem too. Does anyone knows what could it be?

It could be a wheel bearing. I would jack the car up and look for excessive wheel play.

Thank you I will check that. Do I have to program the car after I repaired the transfer case?
