2006 M3 Convertible Rollover
Help please!! I am driving a high school homecoming court in a parade. I removed the rear head rests to make extra room for them to sit. The rollover bars remain. I am a little concerned of some bizarre ejection if the kids hit bars while riding on the back lid. Paranoia I guess. Can the system be turned off? Any other thoughts. Thanks in advance.

System cannot be turned off. The bars will not deploy unless you get airborne. One option is to bring it to the dealership and have them deploy it and once the homecoming is over you can reset them back into place.
Good Luck! |

Thanks. I was not sure how sensitive those things were to being knocked or hit by someone sitting next to them. I grabbed one and yanked on it...locking sytem seems pretty secure. Thanks again.
