b12 pro kit?

http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...2&autoModClar=

Have a 540i...looking at H&R springs and billy shocks with eibach sways. Anyone ever see the b12 kit before? I can only find it on tire rack as a new item and that scares me. Anyone know someone who threw that kit on a sport 540?

That looks like a very good setup if you want to maintain the E39`s excellent ride characteristics while improving grip & handling at the same time.
I had a similar setup on my old 530i.....Alpina progressive-rate springs (lowered the car about 1 1/2 inches), with Bilsteins that were valved specifically for the shorter springs, combined with Alpina adjustable sways. With that setup, the car had excellent compliance (better than stock) on choppy pavement, yet maintaining good control of body roll and pitch when the twisties got tight.
If you`re looking for an ultra-stiff, low setup, this is probably not it, but if it`s anything like my old ride (and all indications point in that direction), it`s one of the better compromises between comfort and performance.

My concern is that I won't get any drop due to already having the sport package. Most kits don't tell you if they are for the sport or not as they will fit in either car. This makes the "drop measurements" hard to swallow for me. Ordering a bunch of rear suspesnion components today...still need to think it over on shocks and springs....I guess the pss kit is back into the thought process as well.
