How much ATF oil do I put in? 2005 x3

Long story short. I put the wrong oil in the in the ATF oil section. I didn't turn on my car because I realized what I did was wrong. I sucked it all out and then wiped it all out. So now I just need to know how much ATF oil goes back into it. Does any know?

I own a 2005 BMW x3. 2.5i

Thanks a lot guys!

Geroy...there is no ATF fill/dipstick under the hood. The fluid has to be changed under the car...drain plug on trans pan and fill plug up high on side of tranny. As a side it's 8 qts of dexron VI..about 6 if only drain and refill.

If under hood that sounds like power steering reservoir. Double and triple check your fluid guide...later model x3s uses chf11s which is green for the ps pump. You don't want to mix the two...
