Looking for manual car for sale

I am looking for a car with a manual transmission. I love the E34, as I've had two of them. I like the 540i better, obviously because of the power and smoothness. But I'll also look at a six cylinder because I know its well built and gets great mileage. Please let me know if anyone knows of an e34 with a manual transmission for sale. Thanks everyone!

I would check out Autotrader and Craigslist, I see them all the time on those sites, though most are automatics.

I don't see any near me. And I wanted the previous owner to know the car. Just better from experience

1992 535i/5, 167k, lots of recent maint.

Could you educate me on the 535i? I have had a 540 and 525i. Any similarities?

Almost everything is the same about the car itself. The powertrain is different though. Old school inline six, not as efficient as the 525, not as fast as the 540. I think the 535 is arguably one of the most durable models in the e34 line up. Engine is simple and easy to work on. Less complex than either of the newer engines and lots of space under the hood.

I like it, they are relatively rare, fun and economical to drive. Maybe scratch the economical part if you have to daily drive it in the city. I average 23-25 mostly rural mountain driving.

Oh okay. Is it still BMW smooth like there other straight 6 engines? Looks like New Mexico in the pictures. I love mountain driving, sadly we are short on those in Houston.
