M SPort and xdrive

So X-drive loses the Msport suspension....but you get charged for it? Why not include it or reduce the price for that loss?

You could say the same thing about the Sport line. I suspect BMW would answer that you're still getting everything else like the wheels, aero, steering wheel and sports seats, so the charge is justified.

M-sport for an xDrive is a purely aesthetic package, look into the DHP for an adequate handling option that should accompany the sport and m-sport lines.

furb, why worry about this? You're not going to change it. I did some checking for you. With Bob there was a net $400 difference in a rwd sport package and an xi sport package 330. For model year 2011 there was a net $200 price difference with the sport package and there was no difference with the M Sport. With the 2013 M Sport xDrive the 18" wheels are standard. With the E90 xi/xDrive the 18" wheels were an extra cost upgrade.

Feel better?

Well, go price out all the components that you get and add it up and see if it totals above or below the M Sport line markup. That should be a good litmus test.

M Sport full aero kit - $2512.18 MSRP
style 400M wheels - $1967.62 MSRP
Total for exterior: $4479.80

And that's not including the seats and the steering wheel.

You know me. I think about it all. But I do appreciate the love.

Now working on getting estimate of when my manager may not care if I take off for a few days and then will place the order.

BMW Finance approved me, and Adrian has been nothing short of stellar (even calling me on his day off...which is like crazy talk, and this is coming from a consultant!)
