BMW 650 (2009) and BMW 650(2012)

Hey Fellas,

wondering if anyone can help me out...
I have my old rims (20 x 9 and 20 x 10.5) from when I had the my 2009 650i and was wondering if those wheels would fit in my new 2012/13 650i?

Someone told me they wont because the offset is too high, wheels will stick out. Is there a method of finding out?

Worst case is selling them, and look at new wheels. Thanks!

Somewhere I heard the same thing about the offsets being different, but I can't remember where. If they're OEM rims, the parts guy at your local dealership should be able to tell you, if the information isn't available online.

Depending on the size of wheels the offset is considerably different. I had hoped to be able to use a style 120 (18") with snow tires on my 2012. These were the wheels I had used for snow tires on both a 2006 and 2010. Although the online calculators indicated the difference would not be that much I mounted one of the Style 120 (offset of 14) on my 2012. It stuck out far enough beyond the fender that i knew it wouldn't work. It not only didn't look good but would end up spraying anything from snow to sand against the side of the car while going straight. I just bit the bullet and just ordered a new set of wheels and snow tires.

I have attached a PDF of an Excel spreadsheet comparing the wheel sizes and offsets on the three 650i s I've had. The 2009 you ask about should be the same as a 2010.
