Radio issue

Hi guys - from time to time driving around, my radio/speaker, would have volume/no-sound issue. In these cases, I have determined that I was not using the gps and was not in dead zones where radio signals would be affected. I have a 2013 x3. Wondering if I should take this issue in to have checked - anyone have similar issue? Thanks!

Mine does that but it's only for like 1-2secs. My guess is that it's due to the free 1yr subscription to the Sirius xm radio losing connection.

Same here.

I have a 2014 X3 and it also does the same thing. At first I thought it might be a loose wire, but it drops so randomly. I, too, now assume it is the SiriusXM signal dropping, even though it happens without any signal obstructions.

Does it drop out if you use a recorded source?
