Looking to buy some 22's and wanted to find out what you guys are running tire size, did your handling change, any road noises?
Was it worth it? I know the looks yeah but overall ??

I run Verdestein 265/30/22 on front and 295/30/22 on the rears... Run em all the time at 40 psi.
For the set ran me about $1100.

Alot of people run 25 series in the rear with 22's. I like to have the little bit extra rubber for potential landmines(potholes)... Ride is quiet and tons of grip.

There are lots of choices though...

I ordered my Vredestein from Americas Tire Co. I believe they have locations all across the US. Could have ordered them online but then would have had to usually pay someone to mount and balance but if you order from someplace local usually that comes with purchasing through them. Also if you run into any problems. You have a place to visit.. but once again just my views.. they didnt carry in stock. Had to order..

My 265's dont rub at all buy once again i'm driving an 05 745i... All i got on em.. they work great for me and look very good also. There are others people like to run (ie, Hankook, Pirelli, etc)

Did you roll your rear fenders or do any other modifications to the rear before you installed the 295/30/22s? I want to go 295/30/22s in the rear also because I think 25s are a waste.

265/30/22 front and 295/25/22 rear on my setup. You could also go with 305/25/22 on the rears. Slightly thicker wall and wider tires to protect the lip of the wheels.

I've posted this on here before but these are the recommended sizes:

Front:
(245, 255, 265)/30/22

Rear
(285, 295, 305)/25/22

These will keep your speedometer accurate and won't cause any rubbing as they are close to the factory size in diameter. A few posters here are recommending changing the rears to 30 series instead of 25. Yes this protects the rim but it makes the tire's overall diameter different and will make your speedometer read inaccurately and may cause issues with the ABS and Traction systems.

Mein Auto: 05' BMW 745i,
Just saying but In over a year I haven't had my issues with ABS or rubbing on particular setup. I do though however get a different reading on my miles driven. For every mile driven I lose a tenth. So if I drive 1 mile. My speedometer will read it as .9. Saving miles on the car I guess. Ha ha
