I don't recall if the sticker lists ED MSRP or US MSRP for ED cars. If that's your concern, use bmwvin.com to show a decode / content list of your car and then bmwconfig.com to establish US list price. Once US List is established, add in your cost of aftermarket options. Negotiate from that point..... Of course they will try to dismiss your aftermarket work, but that doesn't change the fact that those options are part of your cost basis.

There's too much money wrapped up in this kind of a negotiation. If you don't get a fair shake, engage a lawyer to have a conversation on your behalf. Add that to the cost of settlement as well.

You are much better off totaling the car. A long time ago, my Toyota Supra was stolen, they found it stripped. The insurance company would not total the car, the repair came out to the more than the car is worth because they keep finding new problems. After the car was repair, I change insurance company because I was not happy with how Liberty Mutual handle my claim. To make a long story short, I spend over $4000 on engine repairs on the Supra after that because the thieves beat the crap out of it. After the last cam shaft replacement was the straw that broke the camel's back, I traded the car in. It was a no win situation for both myself and the inusrance company. My next few cars after that just didnt feel the same. It took a while, but my enthusiasm for cars came back. I know what you are thinking, its so corny, it almost sounds like a love story

Direct them to BMWConfig.com

I think 2012 prices are still up there. Just tell them all the boxes to check in the configurator, and give them a printout from BMW Owners Portal so they can validate that you have those options.

Ok finally i got the verdict today after a long seach and price process they have priced my car.

I think i got pretty much what i paid for the car (With the rewards/cashbacks).


Now i am back to square one gathering/studying and planning for my next car.

I didnt get enough from BMW so it has to be a BMW again...Well i dont think i have another option, especially i didnt find any other brand which have comfortable seats as BMW.


waiting on LCI ..... 2014 550XI everything i had before + ARS ?

I don't know how you are going to wait 10 months (assuming you do ED) without a BMW.

I have been without my 550i for 3 weeks now and not having that, nor the M5 is absolutely killing me.

Hertz gave me a free brand new 2012 Corvette (in exchange for loyalty points), and quite frankly it still sucks not having my car. Going 10 months - I couldn't do it.

I'd at a minimum go on lease trader and get something like this. Effectively a very short lease for a reasonable price.

Honestly speaking its very hard... but I have to wait... I don't want to buy with out ED and and don't want to miss LCI.


honestly I really lost the fun of driving... now driving is just a means of transportation don't even feel like turning up the audio.. every thing else sounds crapy...
