Rough Idle on Cold Start
I have a 2007 650i Convertible. As the weather has gotten colder, I have noticed that on cold starts, it has a rough idle. It will stumble 500 RPM's in the first 15 seconds. I let it warm up for a minute or so and put it in drive. It then will stumble a little and the transmission shifts hard. 2-5 minutes into the drive and it is all fine.
I am going to clean the IAC, IAT, and MAF and see if that helps. Does the N62 motor have a history of issues with the Vanos? Motor has 36k miles on it. Thanks!
