Leak

I found a thread months ago and can't seem to find it now so if someone has done this DIY or can send me a link that would be great.

Story:: as all BMW owners know there comes a day when you have to replace your pillars. I first replaced my front ones no issues. I removed my back ones to find mold on my drivers side back pillar. I figured a leak and I was right. I ordered the complete seal that goes around my rear passenger side window(coupe). I am now ready to replace the seals but cannot find the DIY.

Has anyone had issues with their back windows leaking at the roof level? When it rains it's pours.

Thanks guys

The parts I'm looking at replacing are: vent window inner gasket and the window seal gaskets.

Do you have a moon roof? If so, are you sure it's not a leak from the drain?

I can't find these drains. Ive looked. When the car is washed it comes in right above the top back window. And runs down my window into my seats. Where's the drains lead too?

I read up on the drains and I guess that could be what is causing it. My middle pillars are actually falling apart like my back ones were so I wonder if it is due to water being in them. I have not order new middle pillars so I am unsure if there will be mold under those as well. How exactly do you unblock them and does anyone have a picture of what the drains look like? I have a blue cord that is just handing loose from when i removed my back pillars is this the drain? I will upload pictures. If it is as simple as fixing a drain I would rather do that before I rip my window off again replace all the seals. Thanks
