Bluetooth Audio

Hi all - just picked up a M package 2012 650i in Toronto, Canada

Was messing around with the audio - and plugged in my Iphone to the USB outlet.

The car disabled the bluetooth audio feature and now I can no longer enable it.

Is there a setting that I am missing? It also seems like my Ipod - which was initially in the USB key is no longer functioning. Any ideas to get this working?

Go to your idrive menu, under the bluetooth settings you need to click your OPTIONS button, make sure bluetooth audio is enabled. I don't have yout system so I can't give you more explicit instructions.

I have a 2012 F10 and that feature works great. You also have to enable it on the device (iPod) or whatever but it is great. In gave BMW does not even supply the iPod to USB cable anymore.

Once the phone is paired you go into the menu for that device and there's a setting to also enable the BT audio. You will also see 2 different icons once paired.

If you can't get it going I can take a look at where it is upon the menu. Of course there is always RTFM.

After making sure the iPod is charged, I would try a hard reset:

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
