Install instructions for center console faceplates
Just bought new black upper and lower faceplates for my center console for a 2000 Z3, E36/7
Replacing the wood grain plates. can anyone give me any installation instructions. Thanks |

You have to remove the center console completely, on the back side are the screws that hold the face plates and dog bones on

There is a post yesterday about console removal, after you get the console out it's really self explanitory

I replaced the faceplates (from wood to black) of the center console on my Z3. Also added aluminum shift and handbrake knobs. Took about 2 hours. Not too difficult. See before and after photos: |
