Install instructions for center console faceplates
Just bought new black upper and lower faceplates for my center console for a 2000 Z3, E36/7
Replacing the wood grain plates. can anyone give me any installation instructions. Thanks

You have to remove the center console completely, on the back side are the screws that hold the face plates and dog bones on
|

There is a post yesterday about console removal, after you get the console out it's really self explanitory

Thanks All
I replaced the faceplates (from wood to black) of the center console on my Z3. Also added aluminum shift and handbrake knobs. Took about 2 hours. Not too difficult. See before and after photos:
