Exclamation Help replacing header

As many of you of you know I have a crack at the weld in my rear header just above the O2 sensor. I used the JB Weld just to get by and it did about what I thought....got a few days out of it. So... I just ordered the header and manifold gasket. I want to hear from anybody who's done this repair....is it easier to go through the top or bottom ? Is there anything that I need to know before I start ? The connection that goes to the abs module (into the bottom of the cabin filter compartment) , I can just disconect it ??? Im just worried about screwing something electrical up.....any info/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
