E60 halogen headlight to HID coversion
Hey guys,
Im fed up of seeing the lame yellowish halogen lights on my 2005 525i. Any plug and play HIDs I can get to replace it? Too many threads but none seem to direct to anywhere concrete without triggering the bulb error code. Anyone had halogens and installed HIDs? Thank you in advance for your time!

http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/35...dptor_for.html the wire on the back of the bulb will not work unless the holder has that cut in it to allow the holder to turn back into place without interfering with the wires. i ended up cutting a slice in my oem holders with a dremel to accommodate the hids. most people here will fuss about you putting hid's in non projector headlights. you will also need to drill a hole in the back of the screw off style plastic headlight cap in the back. this is assuming you have pre lci halogen.. search tool is your friend!  goodluck
