Lift Points and Jack Pads
2 questions for those of you who already have your car:
1) I want to order a pair of these: http://www.amazon.com/BMW-Jack-Pad-A...s=bmw+jack+pad The question is, do they for sure fit the jack points on the F30? The amazon description says they do, but I just wanted to be sure the jackpoints are the same size. 2) Are the front and rear central jackpoints still in the same place? Thanks!

Those will fit, I used a jack pad that worked on my E46 on the F30.
There is a front jack point but it isn't easy to access as it is really deep under the car. I can't remember about the rear. Tim |

Thanks, Tim.
Assuming we take delivery sometime in late October I'll only have a month until it'll be time to swap onto the winters. Certainly want to be prepared.

To swap the wheels you won't need to use the center jack point. The side jack points and a floor jack will do the trick.

Yea, I like to do one end of the car at a time and use jack stands... I don't trust my floor jack.
