Auto AC won't turn off in 2004 M3 - Bimmerfest

I just pick this car up yesterday and the auto AC wont turn off even though i press the button to turn it off. Can i get detailed instructions to turn it off please

Press the snowflake button. That should turn it off. Its normal for the light on the button to be on when in automatic mode. The compressor only runs as needed.
