Those with HUD.....tv screen-like reflection too?

My car has the HUD and its one of my favorite options on this car. Recently i noticed that during night time driving I can see a small tv screen reflection on my HUD off the windshield that i've never noticed before. Maybe my eyes are going but i swore when i first got the car 2 months ago the HUD would only show the actual graphics on my windshield and i never noticed the surrounding tv screen like image behind it showing up too. Changing the height or brightness doesn't do anything for this.

Just wanted to make sure this was normal and that i am just noticing this now.

I only notice this when I turn the brightness way up or if its very dark (No lighting) outside

I would try the brightness again.

Could it be that your windshield is dirty?

You can adjust the birghtness of the HUD display. I tried increasing the brighness and saw the screen. Reducing the brightness eliminates the screen.

I had the same thing, used the dimmer too, but it still was there. I finally cleaned the interior side of the windshield and the HUD (with screen cleaner) at it went away. I believe it is dust build-up on the HUD screen.

Funny you mentioned that because i noticed it right after i cleaned my windshield that night. Maybe i just need to clean the HUD screen because whatever i used to wipe the windshield was very linty and could have collected on top of it.
