New to the site

Hello All I am new to this site and i have fallen in love with a 2004 BMW 745LI i have always wanted a BMW and have finally found one. Haven't bought it yet took it for a test drive and had some problems with it good thing it was before i bought it hopefully the dealership which is a Honda place can fix it. The Question i have is, is there a way to update the idrive system in her so that i can use my cell phone with the hands free it does have the original tiny flip phone still in it but i would like to use my galaxy note where i already have everything in it thank you in advance to my question im really stoked about owning my first BMW

concerning ur phone....ur best bet is to get a bluetooth kit. the phone in it is sort of worthless nd a big hassle to use. get an original bluetooth kit for bmw, dont go for the aftermarket ones since they either dont work or a huge hassle to get.them to work
it should cost you around 400USD to get it, install, and program.

If u have Motorola flip phone with no cable there most likely u will need btup9000

I would get it from ur local dealer or u can search the web and find a deal on used one.
No need to update mmi for connecting ur phone. Search this forum and u can find more info
