Power Seats in 2011 328i

I just look at a pre owned 328i, the only issue is that it comes with manual seats. Is it possible to install a driver power seat after market?

Anything is possible at a certain price, but it will be much cheaper to look for another used 328i with power seats.

I agree but the price is 26900 for 25k miles for 2011. Other similar 11s 32500. Maybe manual won't be so bad. Does have nice real leather seats.

so that's $5600 for the power seat.

would it cost 5600 to install the power seat?

are you sure the only difference is power seats? 2011 for 27k is pretty cheap. Is this a coupe or sedan?

Are you sure they are leather and not "leatherette". I have seen many BMWs with manual seats (mostly loaners) but none with leather.

2011's with the value package can have leather and manual seats. Mine is like this. No ZPP. Also, in other years couldn't you get leather as a stand alone option and no power seats? I don't remember. You could do this on the 2012 F30 but power seats are std for 2013.

To the OP, the manual seats are pretty good. You miss out on the fine adjustment and the memory and it's also harder to change the seat height. For the rice difference I think you could live with the manual seats especially if you are the main driver.

Its sedan with XDrive. Must have been Value package with leather seat added. Nice color....reddish tan and black two tone. Exterior black. No sat radio. No auto dim mirror. No fold down seats. Does have moon roof and lighted door handles. Seems like its offered for about the dealer trade price.

I am the main driver. Had a 2003 325i for 10 years and 166k and so use to power seats. What is ZPP?

I didn't say that you couldn't get it equipped that way - just that I'd never seen it. It is, at the very least, rare.

The manual seats are fine. The fine control is a deal breaker for me. Everytime I have a manual seat in a loaner, I can't get it just where i want it.

Now, that said, every driver has a different body. The OP could be somebody for whom the comparatively limited range of adjustments on a manual seat work fine.

Buyer's remorse! I almost bought my current '11 328i with the manual seats (I am quite tall) as I found the adjustments to be quite accommodating...even for very tall drivers. I took multiple test drives to make sure of this. As things turned out, this car didn't have another option that I wanted so I ended up with my current car with power seats THAT I NEVER CHANGE THE SETTINGS ON (single-use driver), thus I paid for an option that I never use.

Want to swap?

EDIT: My seat color is VERY RARE..."Arizona Sunset," but it looks "lavender" to me. I was backed into a corner in buying this car. BTW...I'm NOT gay.
